A former professional dancer, Brooke Ence made waves after qualifying for the 2015 Reebok CrossFit Games after just her second regional competition. During her rookie appearance at the Games that year, she wowed the crowd with two first-place finishes. She still competes in the Crossfit Games but has dedicated more of her time to helping people transform their lives, increase their confidence, and look better naked!
Jake’s love for Strength and Conditioning started in high school and continued into
his college football career. He was lucky enough to play for and intern under some
world-class strength coaches. Following college, Jake became the Head of Strength
and Conditioning over Men’s Basketball at Southern Utah University. During his time
at SUU he started to compete in Crossfit and left SUU to open a Crossfit gym and
work for Brute Strength. He’s currently the Head of Strength, Conditioning, and Nutrition for the Naked Training APP and works to design training programs for athletes and weekend warriors around the globe.
Alan has spent the previous 12+ years involved in Division 1 Strength and Conditioning. During his time as a college athlete, he began an undergraduate student i nternship working with the Strength and Conditioning staff beginning in 2007. This i nternship continued through 2009 and provided a foundation of a scientifically based approach to human performance. From there he transitioned into full-time Strength & Conditioning at the Division 1 level. Today, he serves as the Director of Sports Performance for Men’s Basketball at The University of Houston. Alan enjoys producing research and has been fortunate enough to be published multiple times i n peer-reviewed, scientific journals regarding training effects.
Chase graduated with a BS in Exercise Physiology from BYU-Idaho, shortly after went on to volunteer with Velocity Sports Performance before deciding on wanting to pursue collegiate strength and conditioning. He became a Volunteer Strength Coach at Weber State University while pursuing a Masters in Sports Conditioning and Performance from Southern Utah University. After Interning at Weber State he became a Grad Assistant with the Utah State Strength and Conditioning Staff. From there, he accepted the Head Strength and Conditioning Coaching Position at Cal Poly Pomona University in Southern California back in 2016 and has been there since.
Sunny has always had a passion for health and fitness. She played Division 1 soccer for Idaho State University and started her coaching career as a high school soccer coach shortly after. Sunny was then an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Southern Utah University working with the volleyball, tennis, women’s basketball, and track teams. Her and her husband, Jake, left SUU to open a CrossFit gym in Salt Lake City. She also began working for Brute Strength Training as a coach at this time. Sunny is currently an owner of Fitness Culture gym in St. George, UT where she coaches as well as consults with nutrition plans. She loves to help others meet and surpass their fitness and health goals!
